Primitive Axe is looking for high energy, humorous and responsible humans to be trained as Axe throwing instructors. Don’t know how to throw an axe? We don’t care! As long as you can listen to instruction, have respect for sharp objects, and make our rules your own we can make an instructor out of you!   • While the sport is awesome, it can also be dangerous if not facilitated properly.

  • This position is ideal for previous customer service industry individuals, teachers and other high energy, entertainment industry based people.

  • Prior training is definitely a plus.

Friendliness

Our patrons are here to have a good time. It is your responsibility to get into the mix to see that they do just that from start to finish. Show your personality and shine as an axe coach, but above all else, always be upbeat and friendly.

Availability

This is a nights and mostly weekends position. If you are not available at those times, or have infrequent availability on weekends, this position is not for you. Timeliness is very important regarding both your schedule and that of your groups.

Flexibility

Group booking demand times vary, and often book within 48 hours of their event time. Instructors may be called upon with short notice to be available based on their posted regular availability. This is a trade off for good pay and a great job!
