Come to Primitive Rage Room and let that stress and aggression out! Located inside Primitive Axe in Glassboro, NJ, Primitive Rage is the only facility in South Jersey. Collect your thoughts, project that aggression on an unrelenting wave of destructables and release your inner BEASTMODE!
It’s not just about breaking stuff. It’s good exercise. It’s also a new twist on an idea for date night, perfect for a corporate outing, or even a bro’s night or a bachelorette party! But let’s be honest, its really about breaking SH*T!
Rage Room Rules
- Waivers must be completed and payment collected before entrance into the rage room.
Pics are great, but we DO NOT ADVISE taking your cell phones into the rage room with you.Have someone take photos for you through our large viewing window. If you take it in, it’s on you. - All packages are a set number of items. There are no, “please just one more”. There are no substitutions. Different items are available at different times.
- Additional items can be added during your event upon request, and you can pick from a list of items when available. As a general rule, medium items are $10 and large items are $20, and up to the employees’ discretion. Specific items are priced separately and additional items will be billed to the card used for your smash event. Please notify staff prior to smashing if this is an issue.
- Music selections, once chosen, cannot be changed. Our staff will be vigilant in watching you smash and ensuring you are being safe, and provide as much instruction as possible on doing so, and time doesn’t permit searching for songs. Sorry, Brittany’s “Hit me baby one more time” will have to wait for the ride home.
- When you have completed your smashing, or just plain had enough, exit the smash area and remove your protective gear. The gear will be cleaned and used for future groups so please do not throw, drop, tear or otherwise damage them. We understand that normal wear and tear in the smash room is expected, but anything above that will be the patron’s responsibility and will be charged the cost of replacement. In other words, don’t rip off your suit, take it off like a real suit.
- As always (and for all packages) no aerosols, paints, liquids or hazardous materials or substances. Staff reserves the right to restrict any objects. Trust us, this is for your own safety.
- Closed toed shoes are a MUST. Face shield, chest protection & gloves are provided.
- Sorry ladies, no pregnant mothers.
- No physical ailments, and it is suggested that you be in otherwise good health. This is most definitely a strenuous activity.
- You must be 18 with valid ID to participate in a session at Primitive Rage. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis for minors with an adult present and a signed waiver. Ages 17 and under please call the facility.
What to Bring
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to gear up.
- Photo ID and signed waiver
- Close toed shoes ( not clogs or flats, legit sneakers or boots)
- Adrenaline and a desire to destroy!
What you get: Protective face mask, hard hat, gloves and the allotted items that come with the package you selected. (We recommend bringing a long sleeve shirt, pants and sneakers. We have a restroom for you to change in.) If you rage, and you’re not done raging but everything around you is pulp, we have options to add on large items, or they can be added to your package at check in for an additional fee if your feeling extremely “RAGETASTIC” on short notice. Yes, we made that word up.

We’ve got answers
Rage rooms are a trend that started in Japan in 2008 for employees of large companies as a stress reliever after elongated and overstressed work days. It has developed into a recreational activity here in America, but it serves the same purpose. People have stress. People have anxiety. People are just plain mad sometimes. Don’t hit cars (unless it’s one of our junkers), don’t hit people. Break otherwise useless things in a controlled environment and then “mic-drop” your destructive tool of choice and walk away. We take care of the mess!
Primitive Rage is by reservation only. Can’t just walk in all willy-nilly and expect to be given a hammer or a crow bar. Our available timeslots will be listed below. Book in advance! As the only facility in South Jersey, timeslots book out quickly.
Hours to be determined
Our sessions cover a range of times. Single packages are approximately 25 minutes with 5 songs for up to 2 people. Four people are approximately 45 minutes with 9 songs. Packages of 5 people or more are custom. Times are for booking purposes only. The price is for the package, not the time. Please reach out for more details.
You must be 18 with valid ID to participate in a session at Primitive Rage. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis for minors with an adult present and a signed waiver. Ages 17 and under please call the facility. We totally get that your parents said that it was okay, but our insurance company doesn’t agree!!
Yes! Participants are charged individually, but it’s definitely more fun with a friend. We will take care of the video that we already know you’re gonna say is a must-have. Let your friends and co-workers in on the fun! We have packages that cater to all groups; regardless of group size, only two people allowed in rage room at any given time.
Yes! We have BYOC (BRING YOUR OWN CRAP) packages. This would include our destructive devices, your stuff, and a set amount of time to destroy it. We will even throw it away for you afterwards. So get that box of 90 year old china from the basement that you don’t know what to do with!
Abso-freakin’-lutely not. For your own safety and that of our instructors and any fellow participants we prohibit the consumption of alcohol during your rage session.

As our rage room is growing in popularity, we are always looking for donated items.
Tired of waiting for bulk pick up or don’t feel like lugging a large item to a local drop off? We got it! In the area and want to drop a donation, feel free to drop it at our backdoor and we’ll take care of the rest. We take all large, medium & small items.
*We do not accept donations of trash or building supplies! Examples of acceptable donations are: baseball bats, lug wrenches, sledge hammers, golf clubs, bottles, plates, bowls, vases, jars, glass, mugs, ceramics, keyboards, printers, monitors, flat screens, chandeliers, aquariums, dressers, armoires, end tables, lamps, just to name a few!
